Be Healthy, Be Beautiful – Wellness Retreat

Whether we are in our teens, 20s, 40s or 70s, we are the most beautiful at this very moment than at any time in our lives – regardless of the convention we call age! This awareness alone can help us be happy and grateful for our life and what we have at this present moment. There may be stress or discomfort physically, mentally or emotionally right now, but we have been able to live life fully and meaningfully. The practice of mindfulness enables us to become keenly aware of each breath, each step, each thought, each word, and each action, and it empowers us to go in the direction of wellness and of beauty.
Come practice with our monastic Brothers and Sisters at this Be Healthy, Be Beautiful – Wellness Retreat. Together we will enjoy our daily walking meditation embraced by the nourishing nature that surrounds us, as well as the Beloved Community Garden. With mindful consumption, we nourish our body and mind with wholesome vegan food, right view and right thinking.
The practice of Sitting Meditation and Noble Silence help us to be there for ourselves, listening deeply to our inner child and embracing the joy and pain in us. The tears and laughter we share together in the practice of Beginning Anew and Circle Sharing have the capacity to heal and
transform us. Deep Relaxation is the favorite practice of all time, and it gives us a chance to renew ourselves throughout the day. We will also have a chance to learn more about the Five Mindfulness Trainings and to receive them as an important part of our daily diligence towards love,
peace, wellness and beauty in ourselves and in the world.
