Magnolia Grove Monastery was established by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh to share the practice of mindful living.

This 120-acre residential monastery and mindfulness practice center rests peacefully in Northwest Mississippi. It is a place to rest with the present moment and to live peacefully with the faithful friend, our breathing.

Monastery is temporarily close

With the uncertainty of the new Delta variant of the Coronavirus, we have come to the decision to temporarily close the monastery again for visitors until the end of November

Practice with us Online

You are invited to join us on Zoom for our  Online Mindfulness Practice Session on Thursdays with Magnolia Grove Monastics. Different monastics will facilitate the practice session. Format will vary each time.
