CELEBRATING OUR TOGETHER ONLINE RETREAT
Fifty monastics and 500 friends participated in the “Celebrating Our Togetherness Online Retreat” from December 31, 2020 – January 03, 2021. The number of participants, as well as the healing and transformation exceeded our expectation. We hope this slideshow warms your heart, uplifts your spirit and gives you smiles.
Our True Heritage dance
This special dance is an offering of the heart from the Dharma Teacher Sisters of Blue Cliff, Deer Park and Magnolia Grove Monasteries to the Sangha (community) during the Monastic Retreat at Blue Cliff Monastery in September 2019. The poem is written by our Teacher, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
Read by Thich Nhat Hanh, chanted by brother Phap Niem. The creators of this audio track were Gary Malkin, the composer/arranger, producer, and collaborator Michael Stillwater. The work came from a CD/book called Graceful Passages: A Companion for Living and Dying, and it could be purchased by going to wisdomoftheworld.com. The creator of this video is R Smittenaar.
