On Thay’s 99th Continuation Day, Magnolia Grove Monastery hosted an Open House and welcomed our neighbors and anyone interested in our monastery to come for a monastery tour which ended with special Vietnamese dishes offered by our very own chef monks and nuns!

Continuing Thay

Dear Friends,

As Thay often reminded us, building a mindful and beloved community is one of the noblest tasks.

We invite you to visit https://www.plumline.org/ to help continue our teacher’s legacy of building mindful communities worldwide.

To honor Thay and continue Thay, you may also like to write a love letter as well! Perhaps to yourself, to your parents, partner, children, friends, Mother Earth… etc. One of the best gifts we can offer is the gift of reconciliation and often times it can take the form of a letter. We can first water seeds of Happiness and Gratitude in ourselves before we begin writing our love letter.
Thay is a well known author and often taught his students to write him letters about our practice. Writing love letters, books, poems, music, calligraphy… are all wonderful ways to best continue our beloved teacher, Thay.

We hope you will share your creative, mindful art of continuing Thay with us!
