Order of Interbeing Retreat
(O.I. Retreat)

Together We Change the World:

April 16th to April 20th, 2025

Order of Interbeing Retreat at Magnolia Grove Monastery

We warmly invite you to the Order of Interbeing (OI) Retreat,  April 16th-20th 2025 at Magnolia Grove Monastery in Mississippi. This special retreat, held over the Easter weekend, is designed for OI members, lay Dharma Teachers and OI aspirants who have already begun their aspirancy.

This is a privileged time to learn from fellow Order members, to strengthen our bonds and refresh our aspirations. As members of the Order of Interbeing, we continue Thay’s message of building beloved community. This was Thay’s vision for the way forward, the way to heal ourselves and our world. Practicing as a community, we free ourselves from the tyranny of fear, hatred and discrimination.

Come together to hold hands as a beloved community, embracing the spirit of interconnectedness and mutual support. Your presence and energy of practice will contribute positively to the collective energy of the whole Sangha body, providing a nurturing environment to deepen your practice. Together, we will cultivate a collective energy of peace and insight to touch the seeds of joy and faith in ourselves, to inspire others and, in turn, to transform the seeds of fear, greed, violence and despair which lie deep in our consciousness.

Together, practicing as a single organism, our practice can make a real change in the world. Together we cultivate solidity in the present moment and hope for the future.

During this retreat there will be a transmission of the 14 Mindfulness Trainings for aspirants whose applications have been approved by their mentors. Please send your completed application package digitally to tringhiem@plumvillage.org before March 15, 2025
We also advise you to bring a paper copy of your application with you when you come to the monastery.

We look forward to welcoming you!
