Happy Continuation Day to our two happy novices: Sister Dũng Hạnh and Sister Minh Hạnh!

Can you believe a year has flown by?
On October 6, 2024, Krystee became a novice nun and received the dharma name Dũng Hạnh: Courageous Action. Nga became the youngest novice nun and received the dharma name Minh Hạnh: Bright Action.
It seems like it was just yesterday that our two aspirants become two happy nuns!
In our Plum Village tradition, each group of aspirants that ordain together are given a special name for that ordination family. This ordination family which consists of 4 novices, is called the Lilac Family.
This family is special because our two sisters were ordained in Magnolia Grove Monastery and on the same day, there were two aspirants who were ordained as novice monks in Deer Park Monastery: Brothers Nhất Quang and Nhất Trì.
