We welcome families, couples and individuals of all ages, genders, and all nationalities to this 5-day, in-person retreat at Magnolia Grove Monastery. Knowing we all can’t be home for the holidays, we can still come home to ourselves through our practice. We can come to the warmth of the fireplace that is already inside of us. This opportunity helps us to look back at the past year and flow forward with the next year with more peace, joy, and freedom. Join practitioners on the path of living deeply and renewing our connection with ourselves, our family, Mother Earth, and our spiritual community whether this is your first time coming to the monastery or you have been coming for years. We are happy to be able to offer a children’s program (ages 6-12) and a teen’s program (ages 13-17) during this retreat. Both of these programs will offer the Dharma geared towards our youth which will also include some games, music, shorter meditations, and the popular snack meditation for children.

During this retreat, we will have the chance to practice together as a community. It is much easier to generate the energy of mindfulness as a Sangha. Some of the practices offered will be sitting meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation, deep relaxation, service meditation, dharma sharing, and more. Through practicing these, we will collectively cultivate the energy of mindfulness that helps cut through illusion and see ourselves and others with love and equanimity. This is a four-night retreat. Prices include the cost of all activities, three meals per day and lodging.

• DORM/CABIN bed in a shared room $100 per night
• TENT / RV/COMMUTER $60 per night. (For RV camping: unfortunately we do not have any electrical or water hookups available. You’re very welcome to come with your RV, but please prepare for dry camping accordingly.)
