Wake Up (retreat for young people ages 18-35)

April 21, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - April 23, 2017 @ 2:00 pm

As young people, we all want to do something good for our life and for the world. In order to touch life deeply and to offer long-lasting service, we need to know how to cultivate peace of mind and relaxation of body. In this retreat you will learn authentic communication, with deep listening and loving speech, and to explore your aspirations. You will have an opportunity to practice with young monks and nuns and share your experiences together. You will have time to enjoy the practice of mindful sitting, walking, eating, and deep relaxation. You will learn how to embrace your feelings and to understand yourselves more. There will also be jam sessions, sports, bonfire, intimate sharing by gender, and going offline to enjoy nature and wonders of life. Take this opportunity to be with young people your age and become the change in your life.

We welcome the participation of people from all backgrounds. We are committed to fostering a practice environment where all may touch the Dharma and find healing and nourishment.
