On Sunday, December 15, 2024 the monastics and layfriends will have a closing ceremony of the 90-Rains Retreat. Traditionally it is called the Pavarana Ceremony and it is considered one of the happiest days of a monastic as each 90-day Rains Retreat counts as adding another year to their dharma age.
We cordially invite you to participate in this joyous day!
Our day program is as follows:
5:30 Sitting Meditation and Chanting
6:45 Breakfast
8:30 Walking Meditation
9:45 Live Dharma Talk
11:30 Closing Ceremony of the Rains Retreat
12:45 Picnic Lunch
