This 120-acre residential monastery and mindfulness practice center rests peacefully in Northwest Mississippi. It is a place to rest with the present moment and to live peacefully with the faithful friend, our breathing.
Our community is commemorating the life and legacy of our beloved teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, who passed away on 22nd January 2022. Join us for the final ceremonies of remembrance, gratitude, and tribute.
COVID-19 Safety measures:
To protect the community and for your own safety and peace of mind, we are taking the following measures for those who come to the monastery. All retreatants must be fully vaccinated, including a booster shot, if due, at least 2 weeks before arrival.
Join the community of monastics and lay practitioners in following the daily rhythm and practice schedule of the monastery for a weekend, weeklong or longer stay.
How do we deal with the intense grief and suffering we feel when we lose someone we love? How can we navigate the storms following separation or the death of a loved one?
Day of Mindfulness on Sundays
The day can help support you in your practice of mindfulness, taking an entire day to come back home to the present moment and learn to take care of ourselves.
Practice with us Online
You are invited to join us on Zoom for our Online Mindfulness Practice Session on Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm Central Time with Magnolia Grove Monastics.
